Min De commenced his career as an auditor in the Audit & Assurance division of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Malaysia. During his tenure at PwC, he was primarily responsible for financial statements and internal control audits and had worked in assignments covering local and multinational public listed companies. His experience as an auditor have contributed to his sound understanding of both local and international financial reporting and auditing requirements.

Min De subsequently joined the Securities Commission Malaysia’s (SC) Corporate Surveillance Department. His primary responsibilities include evaluating corporate exercises, performing assessments on public interest entities to detect possible corporate transgressions, providing strategic enforcement recommendations to upper management, carrying out regulatory actions and conducting corporate risk assessments. He was also appointed an Investigating Officer of the SC. As a former regulator, Min De is conversant in a broad range of capital market matters.

Min De joined the ACE Group in January 2021. He is responsible to assist the Group Director, which include amongst others, overseeing the accounting and treasury functions of the ACE Group as well as advising on the organisation’s long-term business and financial planning strategy.

Min De graduated with a bachelor’s degree with Honours in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE), United Kingdom. He is currently a designated Business & Finance Professional (BFP) and Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant (ASEAN CPA).
