Huck Siang has over 24 years of experience in the Information Technology, Telecommunications and Mobile Financial Industry. He started his career in Hewlett-Packard Malaysia before moving on to Ericsson Hewlett-Packard for the South East Asia region and Intec Systems Asia Pacific. Prior to joining ACE, Huck Siang was with Huawei Technologies Headquarters in Shenzhen China (Huawei), China.
At Huawei, Huck Siang was the Vice President of the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) business unit, serving 23 MFS Providers across 20 countries with 260 million registered customers. He led several MFS projects specialising in digital lending and payments in bank & financial service providers. In addition to that, Huck Siang has an extensive background in IT and Telco through his involvement in various projects which includes Customer Relationship Management, Omni-channel retail solutions, Revenue Management, Revenue Assurance, Fraud Management and Cloud including SaaS (Software as Service). Huck Siang also specialises in digital services strategy including driving adoptions, eco-systems building, internet driven operations, harnessing data through AI and platform business model.
As a business leader with strong technology and business acumen, Huck Siang has a proven track record in building and growing technology companies in the region and possess an extensive hands-on experience in the latest leading Fintech practices, business models and technology in China.
Huck Siang joined ACE Group in January 2021. His main responsibilities include amongst others, overseeing the development of the organisation’s digital, technology and data innovations as well as expanding the digital service offerings within the ACE Group.
Huck Siang graduated with a First-Class Honours bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from University Putra Malaysia (UPM), which was fully sponsored by Hewlett-Packard. In 2018, he completed the Wharton’s Entrepreneur Acceleration Program conducted by the prestigious Wharton School, USA. He has also completed a MITx certification program for ‘Just Money: Banking as if Society Mattered’ in October 2020.
