Keith Tan has more than 10 years’ experience in the capital market industry. He began his career as a graduate management trainee in Securities Commission Malaysia (“SC”). With the in-depth knowledge in finance and capital market that he honed during his stint 3 years with the SC, he then furthered his career with Malaysian Rating Corporation Berhad as a Rating Analyst. He had rated more than RM30.0 billion worth of transactions, covering leveraged buyouts, structured and project financing. Keith Tan was mainly responsible in performing detailed industry trend analyses, building financial models, preparing valuation analyses, identifying client’s credit and operational risks as well as producing credit rating reports to buy-side investors.

Building on his strong financial modelling and valuation knowledge, he had then ventured into equity capital market by joining TA Securities Holdings Berhad, where his primary responsibilities were to build leveraged-buyout, operating models and prepare in-depth market research used to evaluate potential mergers and acquisitions / structure equity offerings as well as to prepare submission documents to authorities for various corporate exercises undertaken by public listed companies. Since then, Keith Tan had joined a few notable onshore / offshore investment banks where he continued to structure deals / provide advisory services to start-ups / unicorns to raise seed capitals / go for listing on major stock exchanges.

Keith Tan is currently the Executive Director of ACE Investment Bank Limited (“AIB”) where he will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational performance of AIB and the achievements of the investment bank’s growth and profitability agenda. He will be accountable for developing new business opportunities and building valuable relationships with private and public sector stakeholders to ensure the bank’s continuous expansion and business growth.
